landfill leachate

Vaporizer MVR Ava Espikoo Sanat

Leachates from landfills, especially those that have been active for a long time, pose a great challenge to the environment due to their complex composition and high volume. Effective treatment of large amounts of leachate requires a combination of methods specifically designed to manage its variable and often hazardous characteristics.

Ava Espikoo Sanat Company offers you the use of MVR evaporator, which is an efficient and low consumption device and is used in wastewater treatment, new energy, environmental protection, chemical industry, pharmaceutical, and desalination of sea water, etc.

Due to differences in composition, concentration, treatment capacity and post-treatment water quality requirements in different industries and companies, there is no standard or uniform model for mechanical vapor compression evaporators (MVR). Normally, the design and construction of these devices should be done based on specific water conditions, treatment needs, and installation site conditions. This custom design makes the MVR vaporizer work efficiently and sustainably and fully meet the specific needs of the owner.

MVR (Mechanical Vapor Recondensation) evaporators have many key advantages that make them very suitable in various industries, especially where high efficiency and high energy liquid processing is required. Below are detailed descriptions of these benefits:

The main advantages of the MVR evaporator

  • Energy saving and low operating costs
  • Compact design with little space, easy and flexible installation
  • Evaporation with low temperature difference, suitable for heat sensitive materials
  • High automation, stable and reliable performance
  • Prevent blockage and sediment formation

The MVR evaporator, also known as a mechanical vapor recondensation evaporator, is an efficient and energy-efficient evaporation and condensation device. Using electricity as the main source of energy, this device has significant advantages in saving energy. In the MVR evaporator, the secondary steam produced by the device is compressed and heated using a compressor, and its latent heat is used as a heat source to reheat the liquid entering the system evaporator to achieve concentration, desalination and COD removal.

Except for the start-up phase where heating and pre-heating of the MVR vaporization system is required, no additional auxiliary heating is required during operation or at all. Distilled water produced from secondary steam after heat exchange can also be recycled and reused, and excess steam is not discharged.

Evaporation process

Evaporation process

1- The MVR (Mechanical Vapor Recondensation) evaporator is a very efficient and low-consumption device for evaporation and condensation, which mainly works with electricity and saves a lot of energy. This device compresses and heats the produced secondary steam to increase its thermal energy and uses its latent heat to reheat the liquid in the evaporator, which results in concentration, desalination and COD removal. Except for the initial heating required during start-up, there is little or no need for additional auxiliary heating during operation. Distilled water produced after secondary steam heat exchange is recyclable and no additional steam discharge is required.

Vapor compression

2- The secondary steam produced in the evaporation process (that is, the steam evaporated from the incoming liquid) enters a compressor. In the compressor, the pressure and temperature of the steam are increased, as well as its enthalpy (that is, the thermal energy in the steam) also increases.

Thermal energy recovery

3- The hot steam after compression is returned to the vaporizer, where its latent heat is transferred to the feed liquid through the heat exchanger, and the feed liquid is reheated and evaporated. In this process, the compressed vapor itself is converted into a liquid and the condensed liquid can be recovered and reused.

recirculation

4- By continuously recycling the produced steam, the MVR evaporator significantly increases the efficiency of energy use. During the process, except during the initial start-up phase when external energy may be required to preheat the system, the operation usually requires little or no external energy.
