Peristaltic pump

Peristaltic Pump is a type of fluid transfer pump that has a unique function and wide range of applications due to its special design. These types of pumps work on the principle of peristalsis (in which the fluid is propelled forward by the wave-like motion of the tube walls).

Peristaltic pumps are designed so that the fluid is placed inside a flexible tube. In this system, a series of rollers or rotors sequentially push the pipe, causing fluid to move within it. This process is similar to the act of swallowing in the digestive tract of living organisms, which causes fluid to move forward.

Features and benefits of peristaltic pumps:

  1. No direct contact with the fluid: One of the most important features of peristaltic pumps is that the fluid never comes into contact with the pump parts (such as rotors or other components). This feature prevents contamination of the fluid and maintains its purity.

  2. Ability to transport viscous and corrosive fluids: Peristaltic pumps are capable of transporting highly viscous fluids or even corrosive chemicals without damaging the pump.

  3. Accurate and consistent performance: These pumps can provide precise fluid flow, which is very important in sensitive applications such as laboratories or the pharmaceutical industry.

  4. Simple installation and maintenance: Peristaltic pumps are easy to install and maintain and usually do not require complex repairs.
